Choosing the size of your mattress is almost as important as choosing the type of mattress you want. Different sizes are available for different needs. Below is a list of sizes we carry and our recommendations to consider when determining what size meets your individual needs. Before you decide on any mattress size, we recommend breaking out your tape measure to check your room dimensions first, as some mattresses may be too large or bulky for some bedrooms.

California King

Size: 72" wide x 84" long

California Kings are the longest bed commonly available in stores and is the number one choice among taller individuals. The extra length provides room for taller people to keep their feet on the mattress instead of hanging over the edge. It is wide enjoy for two people to sleep.

King

Size: 76” wide x 80” long

A king size mattress is the best choice for couples that want the maximum personal sleep space. The king mattress offers each sleeper the equivalent to a twin size mattress. King mattresses are four inches wider than cal kings and four inches shorter, freeing up additional space at the foot of your bed. This mattress is best-suited for a large master bedroom.

Queen

Size: 60” wide x 80” long

A queen mattress is America’s most commonly used mattress size. Queen mattresses are equivalent in length to a king mattress, but more narrow. Queens are a great choice for smaller mater bedrooms, guest rooms and for couples who prefer close quarters. We also recommend this mattress for single “sprawler” sleepers who require more room than a full.

Full

Size: 54” long x 75” wide

A full is the recommended size to comfortably accommodate one adult. A full is enough room for a single sleeper who is under 5'5” tall. Full mattresses are more commonly being chosen among parents for their younger children as they provide more room for a comfortable place to rest when reading their children a bedtime story. Full mattresses are recommended for children rooms, teenage bedrooms, guest bedrooms and studio apartments.

Twin

Size: 39” wide x 75” long

A twin mattress is the smallest mattress available (with the exception of crib mattresses). Twin mattresses are most commonly used for daybeds, trundles and children’s bed.

Refer to Twin XL for College Dorm Mattresses.

Twin XL

Size: 39” wide x 80” long

A Twin XL mattress is five (5) inches longer than the standard twin, making it equal in length to King and Queen mattresses. The Twin XL is the most common mattress size found in college dorms because it fits comfortably in smaller rooms, taking up minimal space with maximum sleeping room. This mattress is also popular among taller youth and adults.

Crib Mattress

Size: 28” wide x 52” long

Crib mattresses should fit snugly inside your baby’s crib. Our crib mattresses met the crib size requirements as set forth by the federal government. If you’re expecting a new baby, you’ll need to purchase a firm crib mattress; as other mattress sizes are designed for older children and adult mattresses may not be firm enough. Choosing a firm crib mattress specifically made for babies is imperative in reducing SIDS.
